Assembly & Fur

To make the fur texture, cut the top of each loop stitch loop on the bonnet, ears, and the body. To make this a relatively quick and painless process, I tried to go row by row and gathered 10+ loops on my finger before sliding the scissors through the loops. This makes a fringe effect instead of loops.

Once all loops have been cut, I recommend working in sections and gently brushing the fringes out with the slicker brush. This will separate the yarn strand and also make it fluffy. Make sure to hold the base of the stitches as you brush it out.

Once the fur texture is made, sew the ears and horns to the bonnet on either side. To help me make sure everything is even and will look good, I sew these pieces on while the bonnet is on my goose.

Weave in any loose ends and trim where necessary, like a haircut!
